Position: Upper School Squash Head Coach
Reports to: Head of Athletics

Job Summary: The Upper School Squash Head Coach will be responsible for continued development of scholar athletes in the squash program. The Upper School Squash Head Coach will work under the guidance of the head of athletics and associate athletic director, with primary focus on skill development, team building and educating our young men about our squash culture. The Upper School Squash will oversee the Middle School and Upper School program in terms of scheduling, communication and player development.
Lastly, and perhaps most important, it is essential that the Upper School Squash Head Coach believes in the idea that we put team goals before our own, where we are “One Team All In.”
*Note: Does not include a full time position as faculty or staff member
*Does not include housing or benefits
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years playing and coaching experience preferred
- Available 5 days per week, Monday through Friday from 3:30pm-5:30pm – times vary on the days of home and away matches; possibly a match or two on Saturdays
- Current (dated within a year) clearances
Essential Duties:
- Reports to practice on time
- Sets a positive example for our upper school students
- Teaches the skills and fundamentals consistent with the varsity upper school program
Competencies Required:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and effectively with other team members.
- Good team player and very reliable in working without close supervision.
- Passionate about actively supporting the School’s mission.
