World Squash and US Squash are pleased to share that Dr. Kim Clearkin, Chief Programs Officer for US Squash, has been appointed by World Squash as International Federation Technical Delegate (IF Delegate) for squash at the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games (LA28).

As IF Delegate, Clearkin will work closely with the Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games (OCOG) to oversee all technical aspects of the squash competition, ensuring a safe, fair, and high-quality sporting environment to enable athletes to perform to their full potential.

Clearkin joined US Squash in 2015 as Director of Events. As Chief Program Officer, she is responsible for managing all National Events, National Programs, Certifications and the Arlen Specter US Squash Center.

Clearkin also served as World Squash Championship Director during the 2024 World Squash Junior Championships in Houston.

World Squash President Zena Wooldridge said: “We are delighted to have appointed Kim as World Squash’s IF Delegate for squash’s Olympic debut in Los Angeles. This is a milestone appointment at a defining moment in our sport’s history, and we could not be more confident in our choice.

“The role of IF Delegate for squash’s Olympic debut is one of the most significant appointments World Squash will make. Kim will bring her exceptional skills, knowledge and experience from her US Squash and World Squash roles to ensure that the squash events in Los Angeles are delivered to the highest technical standards. We have every confidence that she will bring the same professionalism, integrity and excellence to her role at LA28 and leave a lasting impression on the Olympic Movement, broadcasters, partners, and a global audience.”

“For the past decade Kim has led the delivery of more than 200 US Squash national championships and six U.S. Open Squash Championships with exceptional organization, attention to detail and competitive integrity,” said Mollie Marcoux Samaan, US Squash CEO. “US Squash is proud to have Kim serve in this capacity as we collectively work toward squash’s transformative Olympic debut.”
