The Cleveland Skating Club (CSC), founded in 1936 and home to over 550 members, seeks a dynamic and experienced Squash Director to lead and grow its squash program. The ideal candidate will be passionate about squash, committed to excellence in coaching, and excited to contribute to a vibrant athletic and social community.

About the Club

CSC is a premier, multi-sport private club offering two international squash courts, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, pickleball and platform tennis, an indoor pool, fitness center, and full-service dining and event spaces. The club is conveniently located between downtown Cleveland and the eastern suburbs, within two miles of the city’s major cultural institutions.

In 2023, CSC completed a significant renovation of its fitness and food & beverage facilities, reaffirming its commitment to providing members with a modern and high-quality experience. The Club actively participates in the national squash community, hosting Squash in the Land, a PSA Silver event, every January.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all squash programming, including juniors, adults, private lessons, clinics, and seasonal camps
  • Create and manage ladders, leagues, club championships, and special events
  • Work closely with other departments to integrate squash with broader club initiatives
  • Grow member engagement and squash participation across all levels and age groups
  • Maintain strong administrative and communication processes
  • Develop and implement a long-term vision for the squash program
  • Represent CSC in the greater Cleveland squash community

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of coaching experience in both group and one-on-one settings
  • Extensive high-level playing experience
  • US Squash Level 1 Coaching Certification (minimum)
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. or eligible for an H-O1 visa
