Princeton Head Women’s Coach Gail Ramsay and University of Pennsylvania Head Women’s Coach Jack Wyant were honored with the naming of the Coach’s Court Friday, April 30, at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center.

The Court 5 naming is made possible thanks to the generosity of David and Martha Slosburg of Omaha, Nebraska, who honor a different coach each year. View images from the ceremony on the US Squash Smugmug page.

This year featured two stalwarts of the college game whose women’s teams faced each other in the 2026 Howe Cup final.

“Today we’re honoring two remarkable coaches who have not only won at the highest level, but most importantly personify the values of the sport,” said Mollie Marcoux Samaan, US Squash CEO. “Education through athletics is what both of these incredible coaches focus on. It’s not just the winning, it’s what you’re teaching the kids on a daily basis and what they’re learning through the game. We’re honoring you for your tremendous competitive success, but more importantly for your leadership and your mentorship of amazing athletes.”

Ramsay has led Princeton to five Howe Cup titles, five Ivy League titles, coached five individual champions including back-to-back titles for Zeina Zein in 2025 and 2026, and has more than 300 team wins in her Princeton career. She was inducted into the CSA Hall of Fame as a player in 1995 and the U.S. Squash Hall of Fame in 2022.

“It’s an honor to be here and I’m humbled to have our names on this court,” Ramsay said. Congratulations to Jack and the team. It was an amazing match with incredible sportsmanship and competitive play. Congrats on an amazing performance overall.”

Wyant led the Penn women to their first Howe Cup title since 2000 this year with their final win against Princeton. Wyant coached Reeham Sedky to Penn’s first individual national title since 1996. He was named the 2009 US Squash National Coach of the Year and is the winningest coach in Penn program history with more than 230 wins across his twenty-one seasons.

“Squash is a great sport, it’s one that I started playing when I was seven years old,” Wyant said. “I’m just luck to have an opportunity to continue to be in it. Thank you to all of the US Squash board members that are here and working on our behalf to grow the sport. It’s a pleasure coming to work everyday, I really feel uncomfortable with my name on this court because it’s the women on our team who are the ones who deserve it. Not just the ones that played this year, but in my previous 21 years as well. Thank you to David and Martha Slosberg for making this gift to allow us to do this.”
