In accordance with the Association By-laws, ARTICLE IV, Section 1, the Association hosted an Annual Meeting of the Members on June 15, 2021. This year, the meeting was held virtually via Zoom. Watch a replay of the meeting above.
Three Directors, nominated by the Board upon recommendation by the Nominating and Governance Committee, were elected with overwhelming support by the membership to fill upcoming vacancies on the Board as Class 2 Directors. Voting occurred during the Annual Meeting and also by proxy votes submitted prior to the election. The three (3) positions begin July 1, 2020, two of which were filled by re-nominations of currently serving Directors, including Board Chair Soo Venkatesan and Danny Dolan, and a new Director, Robert Osborne, Jr. Read more about the newly elected Directors on the Board of Directors Page.
During the meeting, an update on the state of the organization was given by Chair of the Board Soo Venkatesan and President & CEO Kevin Klipstein, joined Vice President of Programs & Events Kim Clearkin, and Executive Director of the Arlen Specter US Squash Center Ned Edwards. The meeting was moderated by US Squash Senior Vice President of Operations Dent Wilkens.
