After facing each other in in the GU19 U.S. Junior Championships final, Alexandra and Samantha Jaffe bowed out of junior squash by winning the GU19 U.S. Junior Doubles title together, while Jack Elriani earned a tandem of titles in the Mixed and BU19 divisions, April 4-6, at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center.
The 2025 U.S. Junior Doubles Championships featured six divisions and was held alongside the 2025 U.S. Women’s Masters and Skill Level Championships on the Specter Center’s two doubles courts. The Jaffe sisters entered the GU19 round robin as the top seeds and defeated two seeds Layla Gupta & Lamees Shalaby in a close final 15-8, 14-15, 15-11, 15-13. The title marked the Jaffe sisters’ fourth Junior Doubles title together, adding to their 2022 GU17, 2019 GU13 and 2018 GU13 titles.
Gupta would go on to win a title with Elriani in the Mixed U19 division. Elriani & Gupta fulfilled their top seeding but needed four games to progress past Shalby & Aiden Shap in the semifinals, and to close out a close final against brother and sister David, Jr. & Kaitlyn Vahlsing 15-13, 9-15, 15-11, 15-3. Gupta earned her third straight Junior Doubles title having won the GU17s in 2024 and GU15s in 2023.
Elriani reunited with 2023 BU17-winning partner Marc Voloshin to take home the BU19 title. Elriani & Voloshin overcame Tanish Tangri & Rubens Schwarz in a close semifinal before clinching the title against Win Metrailler & Charlie Rodilosso in a three-game final. The BU19s marked Voloshin’s third Junior Doubles title.
Jobby Wyant & Vance Daggett won their second straight Junior Doubles title together. The 2024 BU15 champions aged up to BU17 and won the title on a simultaneous match ball against Eric Chen & Daniel Meng, while Brady Grieve & James Killinger placed second in the round robin.
After falling short in the Mixed U19 final, Kaitlyn Vahlsing would earn a national title in the GU17 division with Caitlin Buford as the top seeds, defeating two seeds Josephine David & Linden Muhly in a three-game final.
2024 BU13 champions Patrick Chang & Peter Pierce aged up to the BU15 division and won their second straight title together without dropping a game. Vikram Ponnuru & Garrett Salese placed second in the round robin.
