Applications for the 2022-2023 US Squash Scholar Athlete Award are now available, providing high school students the opportunity to be recognized for their academic and athletic accomplishments over the past year. The deadline for applications is July 31, 2023.
The Scholar Athlete Award recognizes high school students who excel in both the classroom and on the squash court. The program has grown significantly since its establishment, from 47 awardees in the inaugural 2006 season, to nearly 400 awardees in 2022.
The Scholar Athlete Award is self-funding, with the application fee covering costs associated with the management and fulfillment of the program. While the costs of the program are fixed, in order to ensure the Scholar Athlete Award remains accessible to all qualified students, regardless of individual family circumstances, we are pleased to offer the option to have the application fee waived if necessary.
