Certified Officials Corner
The US Squash Officiating program is based on continuous development through the use of frequent feedback sessions which are possible at US Squash National Championships, CSA matches and PSA Events. Feedback is also possible if matches are livestreamed or recorded.
In order therefore to develop and improve, Officials need to be allocated to appropriate events so that they have the ability to referee matches at the required level (Event Assignment). They need the opportunity for their performance in matches they have refereed to be evaluated by other officials so that they are provided immediate feedback (Assessment) and they need to receive an annual review where they are certified at the appropriate level and goals are set for the following season (Annual Review).
To support this program Officials use a set of templatised resources which help to document the processes.
