Preparing for College
Many junior squash players aspire to continue playing squash in college. Although the college application process can be stressful, the below information is intended to help demystify the process and ease some anxiety by providing helpful and important information.
At the collegiate level, squash is governed by the College Squash Association. As of 2020, there are 35 varsity Men’s teams, 32 varsity Women’s teams, and 45 additional club teams.
The colleges and university where squash is offered as a sport are among the top institutions around the country, including all Ivy League schools. Therefore, whether a student is looking to be competitive on a top team or play recreationally on a club team, there is ample opportunity for students to play squash, while receiving a great education.
