US Squash Launches Groundbreaking Education Program to Strengthen the Sport Nationwide

US Squash has introduced its most ambitious educational initiative yet—the US Squash Education Program—designed to transform how players, parents, coaches and programs engage with squash across the U.S. Central to this effort is the new website, www.squasheducation.org, a platform offering tools, guidance and training to foster a more inclusive, connected squash community.

The site provides a wide range of resources, from helping parents navigate the junior squash landscape to offering coaching tools for both grassroots and elite-level players.

“Education is the backbone of a thriving sports culture,” said Linda Elriani, Senior Director of Professional Development and Programming at US Squash. “By equipping all members of our community—from first-time parents to elite coaches—with the right resources, we’re laying the foundation for a stronger, more unified future for squash in the U.S.”

A Central Hub for Growth and Support

The US Squash Education website is a one-stop destination for everyone in the sport:

  • Coaches, the backbone of the sport, can access beginner lesson plans, fun games, tournament management tools, programming tips, and both live and recorded webinars to improve their impact.
  • Parents, vital to the development of young players, will find practical guidance, resources and webinars to support their child’s journey.
  • The site also includes valuable content on refereeing, school programs and coaching women and girls.

“We’re fortunate in the U.S. to have a strong player pathway,” said Nick Taylor, Ganek Family US Squash Head National Coach. “With over 300 tournaments, 30 states, and 75 college teams, the sport is growing. But we must ensure the experience is enjoyable for young players—this starts with coaches and parents, who inspire a love for the game from an early age.”

The website already offers over 200 pages of content and will continue to expand with new resources and tools in the coming months and years.
