White & Stoker went on to clinch the title 15-10, 15-8, 13-15, 15-13.

Stoker & White’s title run saw the pair become the first partnership to win three Mixed Doubles Open titles together since Demer Holleran & W. Keen Butcher, who amassed eight titles together from 1994-2002.

In the 60+ division, Trubowitz & Chilton topped the three team round robin, edging second place finishers Kathryn Grant & Thomas Harrity in four games. Trubowitz collects her second national title of the season having won the 60+ women’s masters title in April. Chilton marks his third Mixed Doubles title, adding to his 2009 and 2012 40+ titles.

Charlie Humber & Stephanie Hewitt earned their first Mixed Doubles title together in the 50+ division without dropping a game. Mary McKee & Dave Rosen placed second.

Father & Daughter tandem Samir & Lara Varma knocked out the top two seeds on their way to top an exciting B draw.
