Sportsmanship, Excellence and Class of 2025 Celebrated at Junior Awards Dinner

US Squash celebrated commitment, excellence and sportsmanship in junior squash and the graduating senior class at the 2025 US Squash Junior Awards Night Saturday, March 15, at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center.

The Junior Awards Night was held following the U.S. Junior Squash Championships semifinals and featured the presentation of the DeRoy Sportsmanship Award, Age Division Sportsmanship Awards and the William T. Ketcham Jr. Award for most improved player. Photography from the Awards Ceremony is available on the US Squash Smugmug Page.

The Age Division Sportsmanship Award recognizes players who had displayed outstanding sportsmanship throughout the season.

The ceremony ended by recognizing graduating families. Patricia Schuster, a parent of three junior squash players (Emily, Dartmouth ’24, Abigail, Princeton ’26 and Eliza, Princeton ’29), reflected on her family’s experience in junior squash. Schuster spoke fondly of the relationships from the junior squash community that lasted as her children progressed into their college and professional lives.
