James is a founding/current board member and past Board Chair of Chicago’s MetroSquash as well as founder and Board Chair of Arizona Squash. He launched his publishing career covering youth and poverty issues for Youth Communication and the RFK Memorial where he picked up the game. He currently provides sales and marketing expertise to youth oriented media, and remains engaged in audiobook, print and digital publishing. His daughter Alexandra played squash at Drexel (’16) and son Julius is on the squash roster at Williams College (’21). James graduated from Howard University (’84) and pursued graduate studies in media and communications at Northwestern and University of Iowa.
