Given the rapid and unprecedented spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout the country, including in significant squash areas, US Squash continues to monitor the developing situation closely using information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Guidance from health experts appears to increasingly suggest we operate under the assumption that the virus will continue to spread, and that social distancing is one of the most effective ways to combat the real threat to community members, their families and their friends.

Please know that US Squash prioritizes the health and well-being of our members and their families and as a result, careful, serious and thoughtful consideration is underway among the US Squash Board and leadership regarding whether to cancel or postpone upcoming competitions in support of the national effort to slow the virus’ spread.

You can expect to hear more from us within the next 24 hours regarding these discussions and a plan of action.

Sincerely,

Kevin D. Klipstein
President & CEO
