As CEO of the U.S. national governing body for squash since 2004, Kevin has led transformative growth, increasing overall U.S. participation by 130% and scholastic participation by 450% while expanding annual revenues and the staff tenfold. Under his leadership, the organization built the $40M, 75,000-square-foot Arlen Specter US Squash Center in West Philadelphia, serving as its national headquarters, Team USA Squash high performance center, and Squash Smarts community program site with twenty courts and the U.S. Squash Hall of Fame. During this time, US Squash also developed Club Locker, the first globally licensed SaaS platform for squash, serving governing bodies and facilities in multiple sports worldwide.
In the last decade, US Squash has consolidated organizations and operations across media, scholastic and collegiate squash in the U.S. to maximize efficiencies and the impact of programming across the entire squash community. US Squash has also partnered closely with the World Squash Federation, Pan American Squash Federation, Professional Squash Association, the Squash Doubles Association, the College Squash Association, the U.S. Jesters as well as the Squash and Education Alliance.
Under Kevin’s leadership, US Squash is credited with advancing gender equity in sports by pioneering equal prize money for women at the 2013 U.S. Open and subsequently leading efforts toward squash’s inclusion in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games.
Prior to US Squash, Kevin worked for Sun Microsystems in the Worldwide Marketing Operations group where he managed sponsorships including the McLaren Mercedes Formula 1 relationship, negotiating sales and marketing deals with MLB.comand a multi-year relationship with the National Hockey League. While at Sun he trained as a Six Sigma Black Belt and led cross functional teams to improve process performance.
Prior to Sun, Kevin worked in the corporate consulting division of the sports marketing firm ProServ where he advised clients on brand strategy, evaluated sponsorship opportunities, and led negotiations for corporate clients including Schering-Plough, Compaq Computer Corporation, and Prudential Securities. At ProServ he led corporate account teams for high-profile events such as the 1999-2000 Sting concert tour and the 2000 America’s Cup sailing competition in Auckland, NZ.
Kevin graduated with a B.S. from Cornell University, where he was a four-year member of the varsity squash team. His senior year, he was a co-captain and recognized as an All-American Honorable Mention.
