Anderson Good is a seasoned professional with experience in and out of the squash industry. Anderson founded the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference (MASC) in 2017, the first squash-specific collegiate athletic conference in the US. MASC was officially sanctioned in 2023 as the fourth official College Squash Association conference, joining the Ivy League, NESCAC, and Liberty League. MASC’s current members are the University of Virginia, Drexel University, Stanford University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the U.S. Naval Academy, Georgetown University, Franklin & Marshall College and Dickinson College. Anderson has also spent time as a government contracting consultant in Washington DC and was on the squash coaching staff at George Washington University from 2015-2021, being promoted to Men’s and Women’s Head Coach in 2019, helping coach 5 All-Americans during his tenure. In 2023, Anderson was selected to be a Sports Envoy by the U.S. Department of State Sports Diplomacy division. Through this program, Anderson represented the United States as a means of using sport to promote diversity and community in Vatican City and Rome in the fall of 2023.
Anderson grew up and began playing squash in Philadelphia, PA, and played on high school teams that placed 2nd nationally in 2010 and 3rd nationally in 2011. After high school, Anderson attended St. Lawrence University (NY) and was a four-year starter and 2014/15 team captain, the 2014/15 team was the national runner-up and remains the most successful team in St. Lawrence Squash history. Anderson graduated from St. Lawrence in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Government, and while working at George Washington, Anderson earned a Masters of Professional Studies in Political Management in 2021.
