Tournament Director Training
In order to host a Junior accredited tournament US Squash requires that all prospective tournament directors fulfil the following training requirements.
- Current with SafeSport Training
- Passed the Junior Accredited Tournament Director Training available from their Club Locker profile
- Passed the Level 2 Referee Exam available from their Club Locker profile
- Current US Squash Individual Membership
- Tournament hosted at a current US Squash Facility Affiliate
- Agreed to the US Squash Code of Conduct and Tournament Director Expectations
Tournament directors of accredited Adult and Doubles events should be aware of the recommended guidelines for running a tournament. They must fulfil the following requirements
- Recommended to have taken and passed the Level 2 Referee Exam available from the Club Locker profile
- Current US Squash Individual Membership
- Tournament hosted at a current US Squash Facility Affiliate
Tournament Director Training
The Tournament Director or Operations training and test info will prepare Tournament Staff for their roles at events.
Expectations and Agreements
Each Tournament Director is expected to uphold a standard that is outlined and needs to be agreed to before the event.
Referee Exam
The referee exam is required to ensure knowledge of the basic rules. It can be accessed from a player’s club locker profile.
US Squash Membership
A current individual US Squash membership is required to be a tournament director.
US Squash Member Club
All host facilities must maintain a current US Squash Facility Affiliate Status.
SafeSport
SafeSport Training is required by the USOPC. It helps raise awareness about misconduct.
