Lancaster Country Day School Seeks Assistant Squash Coach
Private day school in scenic Lancaster, PA, with five new ASB courts (2017), seeks a part-time assistant coach to assist the Director of Squash. Featuring boys’ and girls’ teams at both the Middle and Upper (high) School levels, we play a variety of opponents mainly in the Philadelphia/Baltimore regions and go each year to Nationals at the Specter Center.
Candidates should have familiarity with the game as either players or coaches and are expected to attain at least a Level One coaching certificate from US Squash within one year of hire if they don’t have already (offered several times a year at the Specter Center in nearby Philadelphia; Amtrak train runs back-and-forth every day and the school will pay the registration fee]). Our season runs from mid-November to the end of February; you must be able to drive a school van at night on out-of-town trips with students safely.
Additional work as a teacher may also be available depending on need and qualifications.
