About the Louisville Boat Club

Established in 1879, the Louisville Boat Club resides on a 33-acre plot on the shore of the Ohio River in Louisville, Kentucky. The Club remains committed to the principles of which it was founded: To be the Premier Racquets, Boating and Social Club in the Midwest and South. Steeped in rich tradition, LBC has the distinct privilege of being the third oldest boating club in the country, as well as the first social club in Jefferson County and Louisville. The Club has evolved to one focused on offering an exceptional membership experience to its many members and their families.

Our Club offers a range of premier amenities including indoor and outdoor dining, 11 outdoor clay tennis courts, 4 indoor hard courts, 2 platform tennis courts, 6 outdoor & 4 indoor pickleball courts, a 2,000 sq ft fitness facility, swimming pools, and a Squash facility featuring 1 international doubles and 2 international singles courts.

Position Overview

The Louisville Boat Club is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Squash Professional to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will collaborate with our Director of Tennis, Platform, and Pickleball, forming a cohesive and energetic team. This role requires enthusiasm, reliability, respect, and exceptional communication skills.

Preferred for this role is experience in teaching multiple racquet sports, including but not limited to platform, pickleball, and tennis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruction and Coaching: Provide singles and doubles lessons and clinics for junior and adult players of all ages and skill levels.
  • Events: In addition to club events, the ability to coordinate and execute Squash tournaments both in-house and away. As well as the execution of racquet sports camps.
  • Member Engagement: Communicate effectively with club members, addressing their needs and promoting all club activities.

Compensation

The Louisville Boat Club offers a generous base salary in addition to the majority percentage of lesson and clinic income.
