About Us:
We are a growing squash organization offering an inclusive environment where juniors and adults of all levels come together to develop their skills, compete, and enjoy the game. Our team is dedicated to fostering both personal and professional growth in our coaches, focusing on coaching quality and innovation. Optionally, we also offer opportunities for those pros who are entrepreneurial and want to develop skills in management, marketing, or operations as part of a growing squash startup.
The Role:
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic teaching professionals to join our coaching team. Our goal is always to find the right person who is the right fit; we hire for attitude and train for skills. So, whether you’re just starting your career, or you’re an experienced coach, we can design a role that fits our mutual goals, your experience level, and your career aspirations. Responsibilities, career path, and compensation can be tailored to entry-level, mid-level, or senior-level candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct engaging and personalized group and individual lessons
- Coach junior and adult players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors
- Assist with squash programming, tournaments, and player development
- Liaise with parents on junior development
- Engage with members and help build a vibrant squash community
- Develop and nurture a positive, fun, and energetic environment for members and staff
Qualifications:
- Passion for squash and a commitment to player development
- Strong communication and organizational skills; team player
- Ability and passion for coaching players of varying abilities and ages
- Desire and mindset to continue professional development and growth
- US Squash or international coaching certifications appropriate to experience level
- Must be currently able to work in the US
