Located in New Canaan, Connecticut, and hour outside of New York City. The Country Club of New Canaan is a vibrant club with a growing squash program.
We service a 300 plus strong family membership along with local public and private schools.
The facility has 3 singles and 1 doubles court with the club itself boasting a nationally recognized golf course, tennis, paddle, pickle, pool, and restaurant.
Position Overview
We are seeking a squash professional to join the current team to provide lessons, clinics and events to a membership that has needs ranging from social to competitive play in singles and doubles.
Along with on court duties, candidates applying should expect to handle administrative duties such as running in house events, traveling to tournaments, and providing feedback within the coaching team to build programs and an all-around strong Squash culture.
Required Skills
- At least 1 year of prior coaching experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Computer and people skills
- High level of energy and enthusiasm
- Available for full time schedule minimum of 5.5 days per week
- Valid working visa preferred
Compensation
Compensation: base salary, lesson/clinic income, benefits including health and 401K, meals and uniforms.
