Job Title: Advancement Manager

US Squash, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting squash as a healthy and accessible sport for all, is seeking an entry-level Advancement Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of the organization’s fundraising and advancement initiatives. Based out of the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia, the Advancement Manager will report directly to the VP, Advancement. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., communications, marketing, sports management, nonprofit management), an interest in advancement, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong attention to detail, and a passion for promoting sports and wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist in creating and implementing an annual giving program for soliciting, cultivating, and stewarding donors through printed mailings, email, events, social media, and more
· Oversee accurate gift processing standards, including timely gift entry and acknowledgement
· Manage donor stewardship matrix and coordinate with VP, Advancement on appropriate stewardship strategy for major donors
· Effectively utilize and maintain data integrity of the donor management system through accurate entry and reporting
· Along with the VP, Advancement, US Squash operations team, and Specter Center operations team, identify and help plan advancement-oriented events or event components
· In coordination with VP, Advancement, lead all pre-event and day-of logistics for advancement events, as well as coordinate with external stakeholders and vendors
· Occasionally identify and research prospective new donors or research existing donors
· Assist with preparation and presentation of pitch decks as needed
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., communications, marketing, sports management, nonprofit management)
· Internship or volunteer experience in advancement, donor relations, etc. preferred
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, as well as experience using donor databases and other fundraising software preferred but not required
· Proficiency in Canva, Adobe suite, or other graphic design programs preferred
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities as needed

This is a full-time hybrid position located at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia. The Advancement Manager will report directly to the VP, Advancement. The salary range is $40,000 to $50,000. US Squash offers a competitive benefits package.
