Episcopal High School is seeking a candidate to serve as the head girls’ varsity squash coach for the 2023-2024 academic year. This position is currently a part-time, seasonal stipended staff position with the potential for conjunction with a full-time position to be combined with other significant school-related teaching or administrative duties in the future.
The successful candidate will understand, appreciate, and capitalize on the role that athletics in general, and squash in particular, plays in helping players learn to build together, work together, and achieve together, from a range of backgrounds, perspectives, and identities. The successful candidate will also further develop that understanding and appreciation in their athletes.
Episcopal supports four squash teams each winter, including varsity and junior varsity teams for both boys and girls. The head girls’ varsity squash coach will be expected to provide leadership for the girls’ program at all levels and work collaboratively with other coaches in the program. All practices are held on campus throughout the week in the afternoons and early evenings. Competitions are held throughout the mid-atlantic region and include a number of weekend events.
