US Squash and the Arlen Specter US Squash Center are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sponsorship Sales & Activation Manager to join our team. As the national governing body for squash in the United States, US Squash is dedicated to promoting and growing the sport at all levels. The Arlen Specter US Squash Center is a state-of-the-art facility that serves as the hub of national squash activities and community engagement. The Sponsorship Sales & Activation Manager will play a vital role in securing and managing strategic partnerships and selling sponsorships, as well as strengthening events and marketing, to support our organization’s mission and drive success. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sponsorship Sales and Partnership Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive sponsorship and advertising strategy to enhance the brands of and generate revenue towards US Squash and the Specter Center.
    • Identify potential sponsorship and advertising opportunities and create compelling packages tailored to meet the needs of various target audiences.
    • Proactively identify, approach, and negotiate with potential sponsors and partners, including national and local businesses and organizations, to establish mutually beneficial partnerships aligned with the mission of US Squash and the Specter Center.
    • Sell sponsorship and advertising packages on behalf of both US Squash and the Specter Center.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and engagement, while actively seeking opportunities to expand their involvement.
  2. Sponsorship Activation:
    • Work closely with sponsors and partners to activate and maximize their benefits, ensuring deliverables are met.
    • Coordinate the execution of sponsorship agreements, including event and community activations, brand placements, advertising, and other promotional activities.
    • Develop and oversee the implementation of sponsorship activation plans to ensure their full involvement in US Squash and Specter Center events, programs, and initiatives.
  3. Marketing Support:
    • Assist with overall US Squash and Specter Center marketing initiatives, particularly aligning sponsorship activities with broader marketing campaigns and strategies.
    • Contribute to the development of marketing materials, including collateral, presentations, and digital assets, to support sponsorship efforts and promote US Squash and the Specter Center.
  4. Event Revenue Management:
    • Collaborate with the Events and Specter Center teams to identify and implement revenue-generating opportunities within both squash and non-squash events, such as ticket sales, patronage, advertisements and sponsorship activations.
    • Develop and execute strategies to drive event attendance and revenue, including the creation of compelling packages, hospitality, and experiences for sponsors and attendees.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in sponsorships, relationship management, or business development, preferably within the sports industry.
  • Understanding of sponsorship and marketing principles, including lead generation, activation strategies, and ROI measurement.
  • Demonstrated success in securing and managing organizational relationships, including experience in proposal development and activation.
  • Demonstrated success in planning, implementing, and managing events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with sponsors and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. Familiarity with development CRMs a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to take on a wide range of responsibilities as needed.

This is a full-time position located at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia. The Sponsorship Manager will report directly to the VP, Advancement. Salary will be commensurate with experience, and US Squash offers a competitive benefits package.
