Athletic Club of Columbus Seeks Squash Professional

The ACC Squash program has around 200 co-ed members with a very successful Wednesday and Thursday night team league.  Although we value competition, we value camaraderie and good sportsmanship more.  The ACC is looking for a Pro who can initiate a Juniors program as well as give our members lessons.

Responsibilities

  • Be the club point of contact for both men’s and women’s leagues and in the Club Championship tournaments.
  • Advise members on equipment purchases
  • Act as administrator for events throughout the year. May include travel to other clubs.
  • Able to conduct teaching lessons for differing ability and age groups.

PLEASE NOTE: Our four courts are non-regulation (32′ x 16′) and the Pro must be able to work around that.

Qualification

  • A teacher who is passionate about the game, understands the process of teaching newer players, and enjoys a challenge
  • Able to develop programs and complete projects in a timely manner.

Benefits

  • Daily meals
  • Free parking

Salary

Although the Club will provide a base salary and benefits, the majority of your income will be driven through lessons. We anticipate the Pro will make between $50 and $70k the first year, with stronger income growth for well-organized candidates who are flexible in their lesson structure.
