250 Women to Contest Eighty-Eighth Howe Cup

250 women competing from around the country are contesting the eighty-eighth Howe Cup Women’s Team Championships this weekend, November 4-6, at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia.

The tournament will feature forty-six teams of five players competing across four divisions A-D, as well as the second MPB Doubles Championships with sixty-six players in four divisions A-D.

The Howe Cup, the United States’ largest squash event for women, has a long history. The annual women’s five-person team tournament first began in 1928 as an inter-city competition between New York, Philadelphia, and Boston. Over the past ten years, the Howe Cup has seen more participation than any other U.S. Championship with twenty percent growth. 2021 marks the tournament’s eighty-seventh edition.

Draws and live scores are available on the Howe Cup tournament page and MPB Doubles tournament page. Live streaming of all matches will be available on the US Squash YouTube channel.
