Association Dues to Increase August 1

US Squash will increase its membership dues to $149 effective August 1, 2022. This represents the association’s first dues increase since 2015. US Squash’s membership program serves to provide members with benefits that help them get the most out of their squash experience including access to district leagues, accredited tournaments and local and national rankings, while also serving as a core and important source of support for the nonprofit association to pursue its mission.

Key elements of the world-leading Club Locker software are also accessible only to members. The software allows them to participate, follow, and engage with the membership community. In addition, Squash Magazine returns post-pandemic as a valued benefit to members, now scheduled to arrive in mailboxes quarterly.

Beyond the direct benefits to individuals, US Squash membership is critical to creating the organizational capacity to make forward-looking investments that grow the sport nationwide. For example, the Community Affiliate Network has doubled in size in the past year to more than 10 facilities. US Squash provided direct seed funding to three of these facilities, Portland Community Squash in Maine, Access Youth Academy in California and Atlanta Community Squash—all of which are now delivering broad community access in their regions. Similarly, US Squash provides grants to convert racquetball courts, helping to lower costs to make the sport increasingly accessible.

Importantly, more than 20% of each US Squash membership is allocated to the 35 US Squash districts which drive squash in their regions, delivering leagues, programs, and funding to local initiatives. Together, with its District partners, US Squash is poised to help squash meet the challenges of a shifting sports landscape, in which players, families, and communities have more options than ever by supporting meaningful lifelong positive experiences and relationships in the sport.
