Arlen Specter US Squash Center memberships are now available to the community for purchase at the new official website www.spectercenter.org. Located in Philadelphia in the heart of Drexel University’s campus, the Specter Center is the new home of US Squash and the world’s largest community squash center. Members and the public will have access to the Specter Center beginning July 6, 2021.
The facility’s soft opening phase this summer primarily will be directed towards the local neighborhood in anticipation of increased offerings for the fall season. As the anchor facility of the US Squash Community Affiliate Network, the Specter Center will feature a full spectrum of programming: from free clinics welcoming new players into the squash community and creation of new school teams, to national and international competitions throughout the year and Team USA training to be the world’s best.
Inviting and encouraging families to be a part of the Specter Center—regardless of their experience in the sport—is central to US Squash’s vision in leading squash to be more accessible nationally. Memberships at the Specter Center include a variety of categories and pricing options, including free and reduced-cost memberships to ensure all interested residents are able to enjoy the facility and sport of squash.
