Linda Robinson

Linda Robinson most recently served as Vice Chairman of BlackRock, Inc. and prior to then on their Global Executive Committee as the Global Head of Marketing and Communications where she was responsible for enterprise marketing, media relations, internal communications and executive communications, and also works closely with investor relations, government relations and philanthropy. Prior to joining BlackRock in June 2011, Linda served as Chairman of Robinson Lerer & Montgomery (RLM), a strategic communications firm that she co-founded in 1986. During her 25 years with the Firm, she provided strategic counsel to CEOs and senior management of hundreds of companies on a broad range of business challenges, including corporate positioning, crisis management, public policy, media outreach and more. Earlier she served as senior vice president of corporate affairs at Warner Cable Communications from 1983 to 1986. She was part of the management turnaround team that brought the company to a position of profitability and growth, and played a leading role in creating and executing communications and government affairs strategies for the company and its operating divisions. Linda received a B.A. from the University of Southern California, where she graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She is a trustee of NYU Langone Medical Center and The Chapin School, and also serves on the Harlem-based StreetSquash Board of Directors.

Linda and her husband have two children who are active squash players.
