The biennial Stifel World Squash Doubles Championships kick off Thursday, September 21, in first-time host city St. Louis, at the Racquet Club of St. Louis and Missouri Athletic Club.

Forty-one teams representing eleven different nations are competing across professional men’s, women’s and mixed divisions.

In the men’s draw, England’s defending champions Clive Leach & John Russell return as the four seeds, with a predicted against top seeds and compatriots Michael Ferreira & Jonny Smith in the semifinals. Australia’s Matt Jenson & Scott Arnold oppose Ferreira & Smith in the draw as the two seeds with a predicted semifinal against Team USA’s three seeds Chris Callis & Greg Park.

England’s women’s defending champion Suzie Pierrepont returns with a new partner, Georgina Stoker, and slot into the draw as the two seeds. Stoker & Pierrepont are predicted to face compatriots Tina Rix & Victoria Simmonds in the semifinals.

Australian sisters Narelle Krizek & Natarsha McElhinny lead the draw as top seeds and are predicted to take on Canada’s four seeds Stephanie Hewitt & Seanna Keating in the semifinals.

McElhinny also enters the Mixed draw as the top seed with partner Arnold and are seeded to meet England’s Ferreira & Simmonds in the semis. Krizek opposes her sister in the draw with Jenson as the two seeds and a predicted semifinal against Canada’s four seeds Viktor Berg & Hewitt.
